1. The service

EMI Bro ("the app") is a personal-finance planning tool published by EMI BRO, a sole proprietorship of Rishi Raj Dutta (Udyam registration UDYAM-WB-06-0074758), 3rd Floor, Anish Apartment, Old Gramin Bank Road, Lake Town, Siliguri, Darjeeling, West Bengal 734007, India ("we"). It produces forecasts and educational guidance from numbers you enter and from notifications you allow it to read. It does not hold, move or lend money, does not connect to your bank, and does not offer, arrange or recommend any loan or credit product.

2. Not financial advice

Everything in the app, including the coach's answers, the ladder and the true-cost checker, is an estimate for educational purposes. It is not licensed financial, legal or tax advice. Lender terms, interest, GST and fees must be confirmed with the lender before you act. You are responsible for your financial decisions.

3. Your account

You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Your account is your email address and mobile number; we sign you in with one-time links sent to your email (your very first link also to your WhatsApp), which work for 15 minutes. Keep your email secure. You may delete your account at any time (see account deletion).

4. Membership, prices and refunds

  • Where you buy: membership is sold only on our website (emibro.in), never inside the app. Payments are processed by PhonePe (PhonePe Payment Gateway); we never see your UPI or bank details.
  • Monthly membership: ₹1 for the first day, then ₹299 per month, charged automatically through the UPI AutoPay mandate you approve at checkout, until you cancel. Your UPI app notifies you at least 24 hours before each monthly charge, as required by RBI and NPCI rules. You can also pause or cancel the mandate from your UPI app.
  • Cancelling: any time from your account page or by writing to us. Cancelling during the ₹1 trial stops AutoPay at once and no ₹299 is charged; you keep access until the trial ends. Cancelling later stops the next renewal; access continues to the end of the month you have paid for. You can also cancel the mandate in your UPI app or bank.
  • Prices and taxes: prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes. The full price is shown before you pay.
  • Refunds: see the refund and cancellation policy.

5. Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer the app, attempt to extract its API credentials, abuse the AI service, or use the app for any unlawful purpose.

6. AI features

AI answers can be wrong. The app labels every AI-generated output. We may change or withdraw AI features, models or providers.

7. Availability and changes

We may update, suspend or discontinue features. We will give reasonable notice for material changes to paid features.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including any missed payment, penalty or interest. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Bengaluru, India have jurisdiction, without prejudice to your rights to approach a consumer forum.
